CUCS trip to Grantchester

Dear Members,

CUCS is coming up with its first event for this term.  The committee has planned an exciting outing to Grantchester.   The small village is famous for its tea and scones at The Orchard and its beautiful meadows.  If weather permits, we will also walk to Byron’s Pool, a local natural reserve close by.

Date: Sunday, 8th March 2015
Time: 11 am
Meeting Point: In front of Fitzwilliam Museum (https://goo.gl/maps/1BxuQ)

We shall, then, walk as a group to Grantchester, which is about 45 minutes walk away.  We will also have lunch at the Orchard Tea Garden (http://www.orchard-grantchester.com/).  The lunch is estimated to cost about £8/ person. Please do carry some cash as there not any cash machines close by.

You are also welcome to join us directly at the Orchard itself, if anyone wants to cycle. However, please note that if the weather is not suitable, we shall have lunch at a pub in town instead.

If you are interested in joining us, kindly fill in the following form by 2nd March.

We hope to see as many of you on the day.

Time of event:
